Panoramahotel is cogent name for this accommodation. We had big room with stunning view on the lake and mountains. After sunset we got lovely moon rise from the mountains. Room and bathroom was clean and nice.

Everything was perfect. The welcoming attitude, the wonderful view from the terrace and our balcony and we were really surprised by the quality of the food both at dinner and at lunch. Everything was delicious and there was a lot of attention paid to every step of our stay. I would highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Schonberger. The owners are the kindest people - always ready to help or just talk to you about how was your day. Food in the hotel restaurant was fresh and tasty, breakfast truly delicious. View from the hotel is breathtaking.
Our room was very well equiped, bed super comfy. We had everything we needed.
I absolutely recommend this place for your next trip in this area. We will be happy to come back again :) thank you!

Great room, great staff, great location, great views and great food. Oh, and all at a reasonable price!
Stayed here on a bike tour and arrived after having a breakdown in Passau (long and very hot/frustrating story). If this hotel had been anything over than as perfect as it is, it would have been a very bad day. As it was, the pleasure of staying here meant the problems of earlier in the day got quickly forgotten.
The Hotel is situated on a elevated site overlooking Lake Attersee with absolutely fantastic views. All the rooms seem to have balconies with a degree of view over the lake, but to be absolutely sure, I'd request a front room.
On arrival, the Restaurant/Café part of the Hotel was closed, but the member of staff made us very welcome and got us a much needed cold beer to drink on the terrace. We then went up to out room which was extremely well presented. In fact, the fixtures and fittings were of a standard you might expect of a high quality city hotel, and weren't expected from the rustic nature of the building as a whole.
After a walk down to the jetty owned by the hotel, we returned for dinner (we had to reserve a table as it was justifiably busy). The meal matched the general quality of the hotel and rounded off a very nice late afternoon/evening.
We didn't have time to explore the area, and after a visit to the adjacent Wolfgangsee, I suspect that area may be more suited to couples travelling with kids. However, for anyone wanting a relaxed place to stay with great food, this is as good as it gets. We will return for a longer stay (and we don't generally do that as we tend to want to try new places - so recommendation indeed)
